Jammu University re-opens admission to three year BA/BSc/BCom/BBA/BCA

The University of Jammu has re-opened of admission under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) to Semester-l of the Three Year B.A./B.sc./B.Com/B.B.A/B.C.A (General) Course for the academic year 2021-22 in the Government /Non-Govt. Colleges affiliated to the University of Jammu falling under Summer Zone w.e.f. 08-11-2021 to 12-11-2021 (with late fee of Rs. 2910/- only), as one time exception subject to availability of seats.

All the candidates who possess the prescribed qualification on the cutoff date shall be eligible to seek admission in aforesaid course.

The students seeking admission shall start attending the classes immediately after admission.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.A. SC. Com Semester-1

Admission to Semester-l of the Three Year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com (general) Course shall be open to a candidate having passed the Higher Secondary Part-ll (10+2 pattern) examination (in full subjects) of the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education, CBSE or, an examination recognized as equivalent thereto subject to the availability of seats & if otherwise found eligible.

Eligibility criteria for admission to BBA course

Admission to Semester-l of the Three Year B.B.A. Course shall be open to candidates having passed the Higher Secondary Part-ll (1.0+2 pattern) examination (in full subjects) of the Jammu and Kashmir State board of School Education, CBSE or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto and has obtained at least 50% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination in case of General category candidates and 45% marks in case of SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.C.A Course Semester-l

Admission to Semester-l of the Three Year B.C.A. Course shall be open to a candidate having passed the Higher Secondary Part-ll (10+2 pattern) examination (in full subjects) of the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education, CBSE or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with mathematics as one of the elective subjects and has obtained at least 5O%’of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination in case of General category candidates and 45%markslin case of SC/ST candidates.
