Jammu : The Jammu and Kashmir administration today announced a significant reshuffle of police officers, including the transfer of ADGP Vijay Kumar to Delhi.
In an order issued by the Home Department, four IPS officers were given new assignments. S.J.M Gillani, DGP, MD Police Housing Corporation, will hold the additional charge of Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence & SDRF.
Anand Jain, ADGP Jammu Zone, has been transferred and posted as ADGP Armed, J&K. Bhim Sen Tuti, IGP, holding multiple additional charges, is now the IGP of Jammu Zone. M. Suleman Choudhary, IGP Traffic, will take on the additional responsibilities of IGP (POS) PHQ, IGP (Hqrs) PHQ, IGP (Technical Services), J&K, and IGP (Telecom). The changes are effective immediately.
