J&K arms licensing case: ED conducts raids in Jammu

Multiple raids were conducted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Trikuta area of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. Searches were conducted in relation with ongoing investigation into the Valley’s arms license racket.

Investigations in connection with unlicensed arms and weapons owners and dealers were already conducted by Central Bureau of Investigation and now ED is also involved with the premier investigation agency.

As per reports, two dealers who deal with J&K’s arms licensing have been nabbed by the agency and are in custody. Officials informed that there are some bureaucrats who are under the radar in Jammu.
