In an ongoing operation in South Kashmir’s Kulgam, a Jammu and Kashmir policeman, one terrorist have been killed whereas three Army soldiers were injured and two civilians also received minor injuries, reportedly.
Inspector General of Police (Kashmir zone) Vijay Kumar tweeted late in the evening tweeted that one policeman Sg Ct Rohit Chhib attained martyrdom, three Army soldiers got injured whereas two civilians also got minor injuries and further added that one terrorist of terror outfit JeM was killed.
Officials informed that a joint operation at Pariwan area of Kulgam district was launched and encounter was initiated following information about the presence of terrorists there.
