J&K government exhumes bodies of two killed in Hyderpora encounter

The government of Jammu and Kashmir has exhumed the bodies of two persons killed in a gunfight between terrorists and security forces in Hyderpora on Monday.

The bodies of Mohammad Altaf Bhat and Dr Mudassir Gul who were killed during the encounter were exhumed from a graveyard at Wadder Zachaldara Handwara where they were buried.

J&K government had ordered a magisterial inquiry into the Hyderpora encounter on Monday morning after which the bodies were exhumed in the evening. Sources said that the bodies might be handed over to the families soon.
