J&K’s Reasi police arrests three for issuing fake helicopter tickets to Mata Vaishno Devi, fake websites blocked

Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi police claimed to have arrested three people from Bihar who were allegedly involved in online fraud of booking helicopter’s tickets for Mata Vaishno Devi shrine.

Three FIRs were filed in Katra in regard to complaints of fake online helicopter ticket booking for pilgrimage.

SSP Reasi Amit Gupta said that aftre the registration of FIRs, a special investigation team was framed headed by SDPO Katra under the supervision of SP Katra and some sub-teams were also constituted.

These teams went to Haryana, Bihar and other states and from Haryana we got evidence and another team went to Bihar. In Bihar, the police team got major success in the case with the arrest of three accused persons from Khagaria district in Bihar,” he added.

Team nabbed three fraudsters who are identified as Ashok Mistri, Santosh Kumar and Lakhpati Paswan, police also seized incriminating material from their possession, reportedly.

As per reports, 40 fake websites were identified and were blocked immediately which were involved in selling of fake helicopter tickets to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims.
