JU writes to affiliated colleges regarding conduct of MCQ based online exam

University of Jammu has written to all affiliated colleges and campuses regarding the conduct of 6th semester MCQ based online examination.

The letter states, “this is in reference to the decision already taken in the meeting held on 12-08-2021 under th Chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu with regard to the conduct of Undergraduate 6″ Semester MCQ based online (CBCS and Non-CBCS) Examinations 2021, as per the new guidelines issued by the UGC in July-2021”.

In this meeting, it was inter alia resolved:

“that if internet connection/signal/bandwidth problem arises to the candidates, the college concerned shall help to facilitate them.”

In this regard, a notification was issued by the Office of the Controller of Examinations vide No

Exam/Conduct/21/208-587 dated 19-08-2021. Further, the date sheets have also been issued in this regard and the examinations are commencing w.e.f. I5th September 2021 and onwards.

In view of the above all the esteemed Principals/Rectors of the Affiliated Degree Colleges/Campuses are requested to appoint a teacher to facilitate such students in their respective Colleges in case of internet connectivity.

The University is making its best efforts to provide all interactive facilities through calls and SMS, and also responding to their queries while the trails for the same are on.

“Your help will go in long way to help students to appear in their respective examinations without any delay or internet problems” the letter stated.
