Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu from Chandigarh has given a reason to smile to millions of Indians as she has achieved the title of Miss Universe 2021. At 21 years of age, she has become the name in the world and has engraved her name in golden words in the history.
The 70th Miss Universe competition took place at Eilat, Israel on Monday morning. Harnaaz was crowned Miss Universe 2021 and first runner up was Miss Nadia Ferreira from Paraguay and the second runner up was Miss Lalela Mswane from South Africa.
But achieving this height was not easy for Harnaaz and is quite inspirational. She hails from a village in Gurdaspur district of Punjab. The family is associated with farming. These days his family lives in Mohali. Mother is a Gynecologist in Government Hospital, Chandigarh.
Harnaaz’s mother informed that her daughter wants to become a judge. A Chandigarh-based model, Harnaaz Sandhu has won several beauty pageants in the past. She has been crowned Miss Diva 2021 and Femina Miss India Punjab 2019. Harnaaz was also placed in the Top 12 at Femina Miss India 2019.
Harnaaz has a great interest in theatre. Harnaaz Sandhu has also worked in Punjabi films such as ‘Yaara Diyan Poo Baran’ and ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Public Administration. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, dancing, cooking, horse riding and playing chess.
After achieving the title of Miss Universe 2021, wishes have started to pour in for her. Priyanka Chopra took to social media to cheer on Harnaaz Sandhu and wished her. Lara Dutta also congratulated the Miss Universe and welcomed her to club as everyone has waited for 21 years for this. Many other celebs took to their social media to wish Harnaaz on this achievement.
