Know what Lt Governor Manoj Sinha told media about troop movement in Kashmir

There were speculations and rumours regarding the movement of paramilitary forces in Jammu and Kashmir.

Different quarters attributed the movement to the “changes in the present status of J&K”. While some speculated that Jammu might be becoming a separate state, others thought that it has something to do with delimitation.

However Lt Governor Manoj Sinha has now come out to clear the air about the troops movement in the UT and stated there was nothing to worry.

In an interview to a national news channel, Manoj Sinha said “There’s no signal in the movement of Paramilitary Forces in J&K. They are returning from poll duty”.

He also told the channel that PM Modi told him that Assembly polls in J&K will held after delimitation. “HM Amit Shah has given a similar assurance in Parliament. NC is fulfilling responsibility by attending delimitation meet” said Manoj Sinha.
