Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that was busy in ricocheting attacks from the opposition over the Delimitation Commission’s draft report has come in a tight spot after its own members have started criticizing the report.
Several members of the party today tendered their resignation at the party head office in Jammu after alleging that they were being discriminated against. Suchetgarh constituency as per the draft report has been diluted in RS Pura and proposed to be reserved for SC that has given nightmares to the local leadership of BJP.
As the party has a stronghold in Suchetgarh, it was now in a curious situation as its own members have started to resign over the issue. While objections can be submitted with the commission over teh draft report, fissures within the party has come to the fore.
