Meeting held to discuss upcoming panchayat and local body Elections in Udhampur

Udhampur :- A significant meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Pawan Khajuria, an independent candidate from the Eastern Assembly constituency of Udhampur, to discuss the forthcoming Panchayat and local body elections. The gathering brought together party workers from various regions of Udhampur district, with representatives from all four assembly constituencies participating in detailed discussions about the upcoming electoral contests.

During the meeting, a unanimous decision was reached to field independent candidates in all Panchayat and local body elections throughout Udhampur district under the leadership of Pawan Khajuria and his team. The workers were urged to unite within their respective Panchayats and urban wards to promote candidates with clean public images and demonstrated commitment to social service, ensuring they could fully meet public expectations and serve the community effectively.

Speaking at the occasion, Pawan Khajuria and other leaders emphasized that their primary objective extends beyond merely securing positions of power, focusing instead on maintaining a constant readiness to serve the public. They called upon all workers to select the best possible candidates and work in unity to ensure maximum victory for their nominees in the elections.

The meeting saw participation from numerous prominent local leaders, including DDC members Parikshit Singh and Amit Sharma. Several Sarpanchs were also present, including Swaran Singh Rathour, Raj Kumar Buchha, Yash Ji, Arjun Singh, Manmohan Raina, and Balwant Raj. Other notable attendees included Captain Gopal Singh, Bishan Das, Rakesh Sharma, Sushil Sethi, and various community representatives, reflecting the broad-based support for the independent political movement in the region.
