Former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti was today re-elected president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for another term of 3-years.
The election process was simultaneously held in Srinagar and Jammu after which Mehbooba was declared elected. The election was held through voice vote.
Vice-President of PDP, AR Veeri proposed her name for the post of President of the party and it was seconded by GN Hanjura, general secretary.
