‘Mimi’ an emotional rollercoaster, Kriti Sanon’s finest performance

Bollywood reloads the story of surrogacy with the recently released movie ‘Mimi’. The story revolves around a woman who agrees to be a surrogate mother for money.

The concept of surrogacy tends to interest, excite, and divide people as well but the performance of Actor Kriti Sanon in the movie is worth appreciating.

‘Mimi’ is the story of a stage dancer Mimi (Kriti Sanon) who has a dream of Bollywood career. But there was something else lying for her in future. A private tourist cab driver Bhanu (Actor Pankaj Tripathi) introduces her to an American couple travelling in Jaipur in search of a healthy surrogate mother. In need of money Mimi agrees to be the surrogate mother. But the twist and turn comes in the story when the couple changes their mind due to a false-positive test of their unborn child and refuses to take the child.

In the midst of complications and helplessness Mimi lies that this child belongs to Bhanu.

Movie has entertaining moments as well as emotional parts. The film has some really funny scenes, and one must give ‘Mimi’ a watch. Moreover, the strong cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa one can be sure that audience won’t be disappointed.  Evelyn Edwards and Aidan Whytock are as the American couple who play their parts. The original songs and background score for Mimi are composed by AR Rahman.
