Chenani:- MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia conducted an on-ground visit to the Community Health Center (CHC) in Chenani to assess the hospital’s functioning and interact with patients. During his visit, he met with patients and their families, listened to their grievances, and issued strict instructions to the concerned authorities to resolve the identified problems promptly.
Patients and their attendants highlighted several critical issues, including non-functional X-ray and ultrasound machines, inadequate ambulance services, and a lack of basic medical staff. In response, MLA Mankotia directed the hospital authorities to prioritize these issues and take immediate remedial action. He also assured them of escalating the matter to higher officials to expedite the resolution process.
Mankotia emphasized the importance of restoring the X-ray and ultrasound machines at the earliest and instructed for the immediate repair of defunct ambulances to ensure uninterrupted emergency services. Furthermore, he discussed measures to address the shortage of doctors and other medical staff at the facility, ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare services to the public.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Mankotia said, “My priority is to ensure that the people of Chenani Ghordi Constituency receive accessible and reliable healthcare facilities.Officials from CHC Chenani and community members were also present during the inspection.
