Mobile veterinary clinic flagged off in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi

Government of Jammu and Kashmir today flagged off mobile veterinary unit to assist farmers in Reasi district.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Secretary, Jal Shakti, Shaleen Kabra said that the aim of these mobile veterinary clinics is to provide improved veterinary healthcare services at the doorstep of farmers from remote areas of the district. He informed that each mobile clinic has been equipped with a doctor, a Para-Vet and a driver cum attendant besides availability of requisite medicines and surgical equipment necessary for undertaking on spot minor surgical procedures and minor treatments.

Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Babila Rakwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Abdual Star, Additional District Development Commissioner, Jyoti Slathia, District Animal Husbandry Officer and others were present on the occasion.
