Udhampur :- Police party from Police Station Udhampur, led by its SHO, successfully apprehended an absconder who had been evading arrest from Year.
The arrested individual namely Sheikh Abdul Latief S/O Abdul Star R/O H.No. 3150, Chand Bai Ki Chali, Mohalla Mastan, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, had been absconding in connection with case FIR No. 546/2019 U/S 8/20NDPS Act registered at PS Udhampur. The accused had jumped parole on 02.02.2023 and was on the run since then.
An arrest warrant was issued by the Principal Sessions Judge, Udhampur, in order to bring the absconder to justice. Acting on the warrant, the police team of PS Udhampur arrested the said absconder from Ahmedabad, Gujarat and produced in the court of law.
