NIA conducts raids at 11 locations amid rise in civilian killings

National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at various locations in Kashmir amid the recent rise in civilian killings in Jammu and Kashmir. NIA in connection with the ongoing investigation conducted raids at 11 locations Srinagar, Baramulla, Sopore, Pulwama, Kulgam on Wednesday.

As per reports, NIA raided the residences of Rashid Bhat, Fahad Ali Wani in Hamdaniya Colony, Chanpora, and Furkan Imran Akhan in government Housing Colony in Bagh-e-Mehtab.

The raids have been carried out due to recent civilian killings by various terrorist groups in J&K Union Territory and other major cities. The raids are part of NIA’s attempt to crack down on terror networks and overground workers (OGWs) of terror outfits.

Previously, nine suspects, who were allegedly having links with terrorists, were arrested by the NIA in the case during raids that were conducted for two days.
