Lt Governor Manoj Sinha has cleared the resolution of the Cabinet in which restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir was urged by the central government.
LG cleared the resolution after which it will go to the Center and a decision will be taken on it by Union Cabinet soon. The clearing of the resolution of the cabinet led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is a sign that both the LG and CM are on the same page.
This is unlike Delhi where most of the decisions are stuck in the administrative issues by the LG and the CM.
