India and Pakistan have decided to initiate confidence building measures (CBMs) to further reduce tension after the recent conflict between the two countries after the massacre of 26 civilians at Pahalgam.
An Indian Army spokesman said on Thursday evening that “Further to the understanding between the two DGMOs on 10th of May 2025, it has been decided to continue the confidence building measures so as to reduce the alertness level”.
It is worth mentioning that tension among the people on both sides was declining after the ceasefire between the two countries.
