Over 300 Kg explosives recovered from Faridabad in Haryana

The Jammu and Kashmir along with Haryana police have recovered over 350 Kg of explosives from Faridabad in Haryana on the disclosure of the Kashmiri doctor who was arrested earlier.

The Kashmiri doctor identified as Adil Ahmad Rather was arrested from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh and an AK-47 rifle was also recovered from his locker in Kashmir.

Sources in police informed that after Rather was put to interrogation, he disclosed the location of the RDX in Faridabad. Sources said that the RDX and some arms were kept with another doctor named Mujahil Shakeel.

Faridabad Police Commissioner Satender Kumar Gupta said timers were also found with the 350 kg of explosives. He said assault rifles have been recovered, but they were not of the AK-47 make.
