Pact between ICAI and J&K government to boost commerce education among students

In an attempt to provide boost to commerce education, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK).

 MoU has been signed for five years during the outreach meeting held with principals of Kashmir valley.

Officials informed that MoU has been signed to boost the commerce education amongst government and government aided Secondary and Higher / Senior Secondary school students.

Officials further added that it is essential that young minds should be properly nurtured and provided the quality education by which they will be able to do something for the society by their knowledge and added that among the students it is utmost important to promote commerce education which is essential for economy’s growth.

The ICAI announced a 75% course fee waiver for all Chartered Accountant (CA) course levels for students from the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and the North-Eastern States.
