Security forces today neutralised a Pakistani terrorist of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit in a joint operation in the Billawar area of Kathua district. The terrorist was killed in his hideout.
IGP Jammu, BS Tuti in a post on X said that the terrorist has been neutralised in a joint operation of J&K Police with the Army and CRPF in the general area of Billawar, Kathua district.
The Rising Star Corps of the Indian Army said that “Acting on specific intelligence inputs, Joint Operation was launched by Army and Police on 23 January in general area Parhetar, Kathua.
Area was cordoned and contact established. In a precise strike by the joint forces, 1 Foreign Terrorist has been eliminated. Search operations are continuing”.
