Panic in Padder of Kishtwar after smoke; IAF rules out crash

A blast sound was allegedly heard by the locals in Padder area of Kishtwar after smoke emanated in the area. The officials did not confirm anything in this regard.

While some reports stated that an IAF plane crashed in the forest, an IAF spokesperson said “there are certain media outlets and SM handles claiming an IAF aircraft has crashed near Kishtwar. This report is false. All media outlets are requested to verify information from Official sources before publishing/transmitting”.
