Some unknown miscreants in Jammu made an attempt to destroy the peace and communal harmony of Jammu and Kashmir as they vandalized a temple in Jammu.
As per officials, some unidentified miscreants in Jammu’s Sidhra area on Friday evening have vandalized the idols of the god and goddesses.
As per reports, the priest noticed the damage on visiting the temple on Saturday morning and informed the police which immediately sent a team to probe the matter. While the entire area has been cordoned off by the police forces, entry to the temple has been also barred for the time being.
“A case has been registered and an investigation is on to bring the culprits to book,” a police official said.
