Jammu- The Directorate of School Education, Jammu, has proposed winter vacations for Government and Private Schools in the Summer Zone of Jammu Division from 26th December 2024 to 4th January 2025. This proposal has been submitted to the Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, for approval.
The decision to declare winter vacations in the Summer Zone of Jammu Division is taken to provide relief to students and teachers from the cold weather conditions. During this period, schools will remain closed for all academic activities.
The Directorate of School Education, Jammu, has requested the Principal Secretary to approve the proposal at the earliest so that schools can make necessary arrangements for the winter vacations.
