Punjab police has arrested a highly radicalized terrorist of a foreign based organization who was planning attacks in the state.
As per Punjab police, the ultra Ranjit Singh was arrested along with grenades and pistol.
“With arrest of highly radicalised operative identified as Ranjit Singh, linked with foreign-based terrorist entities, Punjab police foiled another possible terrorist attack. Police have recovered 2 P-86 hand grenades, 2 pistols & motorcycle from him, informed” the DGP of Punjab police said.
Ranjit Singh belongs to Tarn Taran, and two Chinese hand grenades and two pistols along with live cartridges were recovered from him.
