Government has framed a UT level purchase panel for the rate contract and approval of Standard Bid Document (SBD) for procurement of pipes under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) for rural water supply schemes in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
It is headed by the Development Commissioner Works, PWD and panel will finalize and approve the Standard bid Document on the basis of the requirement submitted by the Chief Engineer.
Before the supply orders are placed to manufacturers the panel will analyze and approve the Tender Evaluation Report to be submitted by the concerned Chief Engineer. The purchase panel shall frame a tender evaluation committee, which shall fix the technical particulars of the material to be procured.
