The visit of Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi to Jammu has been postponed to August 22. He along with Congress chief Malikarjun Kharge was supposed to visit on August 21.
The party informed that Gandhi will address a workers convention in Jammu on August 22 and then head to Srinagar
While a section of media was speculating that Gandhi was coming to initiate talks with National Conference, sources informed that top leadership of Congress and NC were already in talks over a pre-poll alliance.
