Jammu :- In a significant development for the remote region of Jammu and Kashmir, Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh, announced today that Machail panchayat in Kishtwar district has been selected for solarization under the “PM Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana.”
This news brings hope to both local inhabitants and devotees who travel to the famous Machail Mata shrine in the region. The initiative is particularly noteworthy for Machail panchayat, which falls under tehsil Machail in the Paddar subdivision.
Deputy Commissioner of Kishtwar, Rajesh Kumar Shavan, is taking a proactive approach in implementing this solar power project, which aims to provide reliable electricity to this historically underserved area. This development is expected to significantly improve the quality of life for residents and enhance the experience of pilgrims visiting the sacred shrine.
