Adjudicating Officer FSSA Doda today decided 11 cases and imposed Rs.2. 71 Lakh fine on the violators under the Food Safety & Standards Act.
The Adjudicating Officer FSSA had scheduled the hearing of the cases under a set procedure, particularly to clear the long pendency on a fast track basis.
Meanwhile, the DFCO Doda has been advised to carry out surprise market inspections to check daily consumable Food items including Fruits, vegetables, milk & milk products, meat & meat products, Bakery items etc across the District Doda, on the eve of Navratras, Ramzan & upcoming Baisakhi.
In anticipation of the instructions, the concerned officer responded with assurance that the Enforcement Officers entrusted with the duties are already in field/ in their respective jurisdictions for compliances to the directions.
