Vinai Kumar Saxena was today sworn in as the 4th Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh at the CIBS Auditorium in Leh.
The Oath of Office was administered by the Chief Justice of the J&K and Ladakh High Court, Arun Palli.
Chief Secretary of UT Ladakh, Ashish Kundra read the warrant of appointment of Vinai Kumar Saxena as Lt Governor of Ladakh issued by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu.
Meanwhile, flying of drones/UAVs was prohibited around CIBS, Choglamsar from 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs to ensure security during the oath-taking ceremony of the Lieutenant Governor of UT Ladakh.
