All Army schools and Kendriya Vidalayas located in military installations in Jammu, Samba and Kathua have been shut till 29 July as a precautionary measure following spotting of 7 suspected terrorists in a border village of Pathankot
Schools along the Jammu-Pathankot highway have also been shut as a security measure, reports said.
The Army, Punjab Police, J&K Police and paramilitary forces have launched a massive hunt to track down the seven suspects about whose presence a village woman reported to the police.
The Punjab Police has deployed three Quick Reaction Teams (QRTs) in the area to deal with any eventuality.
