All government and private schools across the Jammu division will remain closed tomorrow in view of the bad weather alert by the Metrological Centre Srinagar.
The administration of the union territory of Ladakh has also ordered closure of all schools on 26 August in the Leh district.
The Disaster Management Authority has warned of possible cloudburst, flash floods, landslides and waterlogging in the districts of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Reasi, Udhampur, Rajouri, Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar in the next 40 hours.
Meanwwhile, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Dharmari (Reasi) has ordered complete ban of plying of vehicles on all roads, particularly Reasi-Arnas-Mahore road, between 8 pm to 6 am as incessant rains have caused severe damage to the road infrastructure making traffic movement extremely risky.
