A 45 days old baby died at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Soibugh of Budgam in Kashmir after immunization.
Family from Central Kashmir’s Budgam lost their baby Ziyan Ahmed Mir after being vaccinated at the same Health Centre at Soibugh area of Budgam. The baby Ziyan Ahmed Mir was the resident of Damipora Soibugh.
Family said that after the baby got immunized, he developed some reaction and after a few hours when taken to GB Panth hospital for children on the advice of PHC Soibugh, doctors declared the baby dead.
Doctors said that the baby died because of convulsion disorder.
As per reports, another family from Soibugh has alleged that their baby died after immunization at PHC Soibugh.
Bilal Ahmed, father of the baby said that after vaccination, his baby lost consciousness and developed some reactions. He further added that they shifted the baby to GB Panth Hospital where he took his last breath.
“This was the second baby who died in a single day after immunization. There is something wrong and it must be checked,” Ahmed said. Also, they have lodged a report at police post Soibugh.
As per reports, the concerned doctor kept the phone after listening to the story and didn’t respond to repeated phone calls after that.
