Several MoUs signed with big business groups by J&K government in Dubai

The Jammu and Kashmir government has signed various deals and important MoUs with Al Maya Group, MATU Investments LLC, GL Employment Brokerage LLC & Noon.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, said that these projects and investment by various groups will help to strengthen J&K-Dubai’s trade and investment ties.

A great response has been received from the various companies, major corporate, business groups, business managers and investors in the summit, reportedly.

Sinha expressed the strong business scenario in Jammu & Kashmir, while addressing the summit and said that new partnership has begun as various business groups from UAE have shown interest to invest in J&K. He further added that the time has come now where J&K has lots of new opportunities and relationship between India and UAE has matured enough over the years to become enduring ‘Global Partners’ in the 21st Century.

He further informed that they have been coming up with new policies, creating critical infrastructure, new ways and unlocking the business potential of Jammu Kashmir to strengthen business ecosystem for the post-pandemic world to start the developmental journey.

He added that due to transparent policies, ease of doing business, they have done investment proposal worth Rs.45,000 crore & additional Rs.18,300 crore in real estate sector.

“There is an advantage of first-mover because Jammu and Kashmir is an unsaturated market and one can build a brand new business network and tap rapidly growing opportunities in the Union Territory. I assure you, the Government will be a facilitator, partner, provider, collaborator and promoter at every step to ensure sustainable, balanced, progressive and competitive business environment for traditional core sectors and new-age technology driven sectors,” he added.

 “It is my firm belief that the industries will thrive in a progressive business regulatory environment which has now been established in J&K,” said the Lt Governor.
