In a major development in the employment sector, students of National Institute of Srinagar (NIT) got various job offers across the country. Officials informed that during 2021-22 placement periods around 350 students have got offers for job from various companies across the country.
Director NIT Srinagar, Prof (Dr) Rakesh Sehgal said that he is proud of the students and gave his best wishes and greetings to students. He further said that despite of facing so many hardships on the way, by Dr Obbu Chanda Sekhar helped students in every possible manner and trained them enough to get placed in big companies.
Registrar NIT Srinagar, Prof Kaiser Bukhari informed that students get such opportunities at their door steps through campus placements which help them in achieving their dreams of working in big companies. He further said that in NIT Srinagar the future of students is bright and institute will keep providing such opportunities.
Placement Officer, Dr Obbu Chandra Sekhar informed that over 350 students got job offers and 280 students have been placed during the first 6 months.
