Considering the heavy rush of passengers and tourists visiting Kashmir recently, it has been decided to operate special reserved train number 04627/04628 between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Srinagar on February 3rd, and special reserved train number 04629/04630 between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Srinagar on February 4th.
This decision has been taken keeping in mind the convenience of passengers and in lieu of the operation of a pair of Vande Bharat trains on February 3rd and 4th, so that the operation of these special reserved trains makes the journey more convenient and comfortable for passengers.
February 3rd: Timetable for Special Reserved Train No. 04627/04628:
Special Reserved Train No. 04627 will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 8:10 AM and arrive at Srinagar at 11:10 AM. It will stop at Banihal Railway Station en route.
On its return journey, Special Reserved Train No. 04628 will depart from Srinagar at 2:00 PM on the same day and arrive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 5:00 PM. Stoppages en route will remain the same.
February 4th: Timetable for Special Reserved Train No. 04629/04630:
Special Reserved Train No. 04629 will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 10:00 AM and arrive at Srinagar at 1:30 PM. It will stop at Banihal Railway Station en route.
On its return journey, Special Reserved Train No. 04630 will depart from Srinagar at 3:00 PM on the same day and arrive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 6:00 PM. Stoppages en route will remain the same. Regarding the operation of this special reserved train, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Jammu, Mr. Uchit Singhal, stated, “This special reserved train was previously operated on January 27th and 28th. Its service proved very beneficial for the people of Kashmir and tourists. Prioritizing this convenience once again, the special train is being operated again. Passengers are requested to obtain accurate train information from the official Indian Railways website or by dialing 139 before commencing their journey.”
