Srinagar witnesses coldest night with minus 3.9 degree temp

Srinagar city witnessed the coldest night of the season with the temperature going below 3.9 degree Celsius. The residents of the city felt immense cold throughout the day on Tuesday.

The temperature of the intervening night on Tuesday and Wednesday was four degree below the normal for the season.

The Meteorological Department said that Konibal in Pulwama district of Kashmir was the coldest that recorded minus 5.5 degrees Celsius. The Pahalgam tourist resort recorded a low of minus 4.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature in Gulmarg settled at zero degree Celsius.
