India used Bofors guns to destroy Pakistani bunkers including an ammunition depot after the Pakistani side resorted to ceasefire violation continuously for the past few days.

In a recent infiltration bid in keran sector of Kupwara, five terrorists were eliminated by the Indian army. The ultras had sneaked into the Indian side and were confronted by the commandos of Special Forces.

However in a dramatic footage, Pakistani bunkers could be seen getting destroyed after the shells from Indian Bofors guns hit them. The footage is taken from a drone and released by the Indian army.

The helpless Pakistani army seems to be hiding when the Indian artillery starts spewing fire. An ammunition depot is also among those structures that were destroyed in the retaliatory fire by India.

In a common practice, Pakistan tries to push in heavily armed ultras by distracting the Indian forced through ceasefire violations. The army is well acquainted with this technique by the Pakistani side as a result the guard is strengthened on the LoC as soon as the Pakistan side resorts to ceasefire violations.

Sources in army said that the artillery fire also hit terrorist launch pads along the LoC, gun positions and shelter of Pakistani rangers. It is estimated that Pakistan has suffered heavy damage due to the fire by the Indian side.

Indian army generally resorts to mortar shelling and gun fire to reply to the ceasefire violations by the Pakistani side. However during the operation in Keran sector, commandos of Special Forces were also martyred due to which orders had reached from Delhi to retaliate to the Pakistani side in a befitting manner.

Defense analysts have also criticized the Pakistani side for getting involved in such tactics even when the entire world is suffering from the deadly Coronavirus.
