Teachers suspended for impersonation in biometric attendance system in J&K

Taking a strong note of impersonating biometric attendance in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar, Chief Education Officer (CEO) suspended seven teachers. Chief Education Officer Kishtwar ordered suspension of seven government school teachers, including 3 female in Kishtwar district.

During the inspection and checking the punctuality of the officials through Biometric Attendance System (offline) in PS Mir Mohalla Malipeth, MS Malipeth and UPS Wasser Kund, the CEO found that Ruksana Banoo, Teacher G-II, PS Mir Mohalla Malipeth; Tanveer Hussain, Teacher MS Malipeth; Tehseena Banoo, Teacher Grade-II were doing impersonation in Biometric Attendance System (Offline) to manage the attendance of Imtiyaz Hussain, Teacher G-II PS Mir Mohalla Malipeth, Syed Safeer, 3rd Teacher and Zia Ul Haq, Master MS Malipeth and Rubina Tabassum, Teacher UPS Wasser Kund.

The CEO Kishtwar ordered placing all seven teachers involved in impersonation in the Biometric Attendance System under suspension and all seven were attached to other schools with immediate effect.
