An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces on Wednesday at the Nowgam area of the southern district of Shopian in which three soldiers were injured.
Officials informed that terrorists opened fire at security forces during an encounter in Shopian district of Kashmir.
An official said that a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) on specific information about the presence of terrorists in the Nowgam area.
