Thousands of children and their parents are on tenterhooks especially in Jammu region who have been allotted centers in Punjab and other states. It will deprive large number of poor students to drop out and would not pursue graduate level studies, Congress spokesperson Ravinder Sharma said.

“The BJP government made the Jammu university and Kashmir university to voluntarily join  CUET, which was meant for 44 central universities and other universities to participate. BJP wanted outside students to come and study in Jammu at the cost of local students. Nobody would go to Kashmir in the situation and Jammu children shall be at loss” Sharma said.
