Udhampur infant deaths: Digital Vision chargesheeted after 3 years

Jammu and Kashmir police have chargesheeted Himachal Pradesh based Digital Vision company allegedly responsible for deaths of 12 infants in Ramnagar of Udhampur district nearly three years ago.

Udhampur police has filed over 740 page of chargesheet in the court of judicial magistrate Ramnagar.

In an exclusive information available with JK Newsline, Purshottam Goel who is the owner of Digital Vision and his two sons have been found guilty of culpable homicide amounting to murder.

It is after severe pressure put on the J&K administration and police that chargesheet was filed against the accused. 12 infants had died due to alleged spurious cough syrup manufactured by Digital Vision.
