During the recent times, people of the country have seen many flop movies and Liger is heading towards the same fate. As the Liger movie starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday was released today, the rating doesn’t seem to show any positive for the film.
Actor Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday have promoted the movie across the country by visiting many states asking the people to watch their movie despite the fact that films of superstars like Aamir Khan have become disastrously flop.
Ananya Panday was hopeful that Liger Movie may change things for Bollywood and do not meet the safe fate of flop movies. However people who watched the movie across the country have shared their feedback that shows that the film will be a certain flop.
In a promotional interview, Arjun Reddy actor claimed that Liger is already a ‘blockbuster’. Interestingly Liger movie is doing well in the foreign countries. Distributor of the movie in USA claimed that the film has collected an excellent $350k from the USA alone, and that, too, just in its premiere shows across the country.
Director Puri Jagannadh, who has given several memorable films in the past, looks totally out of form. Liger took three years to make, but the story doesn’t show that. It is a story that is so stale that even a child could predict the proceedings. Liger is not a movie to be watched in the theaters as per the people who went to watch the first show of the movie. Infact they said that people should wait for the OTT release of Liger movie where it could be enjoyed.
Bollywood is witnessing a severe downfall in recent times apparently due to weak stories. On the other hand many South Indian movies have done quite well even in the Hindi belt which shows that the strength of the story and acting can save it from disaster unlike Liger movie which fails in acting as well as a story line. Ananya Panday like her earlier movies has acted like a silver spoon child with over emotions in most of the scenes in Liger movie.
Audience of the Bollywood movies have already shown to the directors and actors that they do not want drama and over-acting in their movies but simple stories with actors doing natural acting. Liger is set to fail and will join the list of Laal Singh Chaddha.
