With rains in the region, educational institutions in Jammu to remain closed on September 1

As the rain doesn’t seem to subside, schools and other educational institutions in Jammu region will remain closed even on Monday (September 1).

The schools in Jammu remained closed last week due to incessant rains that also caused damaged in many parts of the division. Many pilgrims at Vaishno Devi shrine were also killed in a landslide triggered due to heavy rains.

The administration had ordered closure of schools in Jammu last week in wake of inclement weather conditions.
