Udhampur Police have successfully solved a gruesome murder case that took place in the Kiya area of Ramnagar. A woman named Shanti Devi was brutally murdered by her son-in-law, Suresh Kumar, following a heated argument.
Police immediately registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and launched a thorough investigation. A dedicated team, led by the SHO of Ramnagar Police Station, worked tirelessly to track down the accused. Within 12 hours of the incident, Suresh Kumar was apprehended in a joint operation conducted in Ramnagar and its neighboring areas.
The accused had attacked his mother-in-law with an axe, causing fatal injuries. Additionally, he assaulted his wife, Lalita Devi, and sister-in-law, Anju Devi. The injured victims were promptly shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. Further investigation in the case is going on
