Work progressing at Kwar hydroelectric project

The 540 mw Kwar Hydroelectric Project marked another significant step towards powering clean energy with the commencement of the erection work of the Draft Tube Elbow of Unit#4 under the E&M Works, in the presence of Bhupender Gupta, CMD, NHPC Limited and Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Projects), NHPC Limited earlier this week.

This milestone reflects CVPPL’s unwavering commitment to engineering excellence, quality, and sustainable development. During the visit, CMD, NHPC also inaugurated the 40R Steel Truss Bridge at the TRT Outlet, which will pave the way for commencement of construction of TRT Outlet works, officials said.
