Govt “afraid” of peaceful protest by employees: J&K Congress

JKPCC Chief Vikar Rasool Wani has said that BJP government at the centre and UT administration is “afraid” of the peaceful protests of it’s own employees and put a ban on their  democratic rights to seek timely release of their salary and GPF besides other dues of their hard work & termed it most undemocratic.

He said that people are fed up with the misrule of BJP & it will face the wrath of people of all sections when elections are held while  Congress has emerged as the  first choice of people including  in  the Jammu region. 

Addressing a congress rally at Ramgarh assembly segment in Samba district today, Vikar Rasool Wani lashed out at the BJP for the worst sufferings of each& every section of society due to misrule & misgovernance on various fronts ,for more than nine years.

AICC Secretary Co- Incharge J&K Manoj Yadav,Working President Raman Bhalla, Senior Vice President Ravinder Sharma, Vice President & former minister Yash Pal Kundal, former minister Gurbachan Kumari Rana, General Secretaries PCC  Pawan Raina I/C Samba, Shashi Sharma, T S Tony (DDC) , Narinder Gupta,DCC President Sanjeev Sharma, Working President Babbal Gupta, Vijay Sharma, Rajvir Singh, Neeraj Gupta, Rajinder Singh Nathu, Vijay shastri,Tirth Bhagat ,Daleep Kumar (BDC), Charanjeet Bhagat Adv Jagpreet Kour, Jatin Raina, AP Lucky,Mandeep chaudhary Jagdeep Singh,Anita Devi Dist Mahila President & Mohd Ismail District President ST cell were prominent who also attended & addressed.

JKPCC chief expressed surprise that government is afraid of its own employees and has put a ban upon them to restrain them from seeking due salary of three months, GPF, wages & regularisation, in a peaceful manner.Is it good governance and where is the democracy left, he questioned.

Wani said that people are highly agitated over denial of the right to elect their own representatives for more than nine years while b the deferment of panchayat and ULB polls too, has added to the anger of people.  BJP wants to rule through proxy as they know their fate in election. 

He referred to the sufferings of the farmers and border people who face the brunt of Pakistan and the own government too. They suffered huge losses and instead are being harassed to pay the arrears of abolished irrigation tax( abhiana) by the BJP government. The unemployed youth are suffering, common man is being taxed but people like Adani are answerable to none. 

The people will rise and show the door to BJP in the Lok Sabha and assembly elections as well other basic elections, if held but BJP is deliberately running away from all sorts of elections. 

Addressing the gathering  AICC Secretary Manoj Yadav lashed out at the dictatorial mindset of BJP and accused it of destroying the democratic atmosphere in the country by its politics of vendetta.

Modi government is afraid of opposition and dissent and trying every method to create fear through misuse of agencies but it is anti democratic, he alleged and said people will bring a change every where and INDIA alliance will emerge victorious.

Working President Raman Bhalla said that the people of border area are under continuous fear of Pak shelling and are great sufferers of the government neglect. They gave several sacrifices on the border and in the army and defended the nation but face hardships in agriculture activities but the government has failed to hold special recruitment for their wards. 

He said most of them are refugees of 1947,1965& 1971 but BJP betrayed them by not sanctioning the full package framed by congress government in 2014.He said that unemployed youth are most frustrated due to lack of job opportunities while outside people are taking over here the private sector. 

Senior Vice President & party’s Incharge  Media Shri Ravinder Sharma hit out the BJP’s anti farmers and anti poor  besides anti youth & anti employees policies. Whenever election are held, BJP will face the consequences but BJP people have glued to the chairs & not holding elections so far. 

Former minister & vice President Yash Pal Kundal lashed out at the BJP and UT administration for ruining  the local trade & job opportunities for the youth while farmers are being denied due MSP and other facilities to grow. Each & every section is crying due to the economic policies but the government claims that all is well in UT. 

Pawan Raina also referred to the issues of farmers and refugees who have not got their due. 

TS Tony referred to the discrimination with Jat community in the delimitation whose all seats have been reserved, while Dalits too have been marginalized to borders only. 

DCC President Sanjeev Sharma highlighted the local issues of  people of border areas & farmers who are not being given special benefits & concessions in the situation.
