After a six year old girl from Jammu and Kashmir complained Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being burdened under homework, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha taking cognizance of an innocent complaint has asked the School Education department to come up with a policy within 48 hours.
The video of this students was shared multiple times on micro blogging website Twitter before it attracted the attention of Lt Governor Manoj Sinha.
The girl in the video is heard complaining about the ‘heavy’ homework being given to the students of different schools in J&K during the lockdown period. She asks the PM to do something in this regard and undo the burden on students.
In a tweet, Manoj Sinha writes, “Very adorable complaint. Have directed the school education department to come out with a policy within 48 hours to lighten burden of homework on school kids. Childhood innocence is gift of God and their days should be lively, full of joy and bliss”.
