Kathua :- At least six members of a family, including four minors, tragically lost their lives in a devastating fire that engulfed a residential house in Kathua District on Wednesday.
The blaze erupted during the night at the residence of Avtar Krishan in Shiva Nagar, claiming the lives of Ganga Bhagat (17), Danish Bhagat (15), Barkha Raina (25), Takash Raina (3), and Advik Raina (4). Four individuals, including Swarna, Neetu Davi, Arun Kumar, and Kewal Krishan, sustained injuries and were promptly transported to the District Hospital for medical attention.
While a preliminary investigation points towards a short circuit as the potential cause of the fire, further inquiries are currently underway to ascertain the exact circumstances of the incident.
